Okay, you might be thinking that it is expensive to decorate your home with art and you are not wrong. However, if you are take it into your own hands you can take unique stand by being a little design savvy and using a few shortcuts.

With that is how I am going to show how to make use of a colouring book to boost the uniqueness of your living space.

Here is all you will need:

  • Colouring Book, choose the page or pages you want (the one I used for this was printed on an A4 sized paper)

  • Colouring equipment, I used markers but you can use any colouring utensil you prefer.

  • Scissors

  • Picture Frame

Start Colouring

If you use markers, make sure that there is a lining underneath the page to catch any of the ink from running onto surfaces.

Cut and Fill the frame

Place and Decorate

Then TADAH ! It looks great once you find a place for it to go. The pop of colour will always invite vibrancy to any room.

Plus, it is the colouring sheet you coloured in using the colour scheme you chose. Making it a lot cheaper and more personal compared to getting bespoke piece done by someone else.

Rather making the print fill the frame from edge to edge. You can cut it smaller and mount it onto white paper or card to give it space to breathe.

Additionally, you can add your own border line by just drawing it on to further draw focus onto the coloured pattern print.
